Toddler Adoption Book Recommendation

So I've started reading this book. It's an interesting read for anyone who wants to learn about adopting a toddler. It's scaring the be-jeezees out of me- that's for sure. It's all so reminiscent of the attachment books/articles I read before we adopted Paige. I'm scared out of my mind to bring home a toddler, but I know it's the right thing to do. She's already a member of our family so, like all other parents awaiting their child- we wait, pray like mad, and hope for the best.

I'm so excited to bring Claire home (even though the book said you shouldn't rename your toddler). I'm sorry but I'm not going to call her Lin Jia Ni when our own Chen Neng Qing is named Paige. The author did note that nearly everyone she interviewed changed their child's name- most of the children have not experienced any issues. She did say an 18 yr old from Korea is petitioning her name to be changed to her birth name citing that her parents were trying to keep her away from her heritage. Hmmm...

At any rate, it looks like I've done all I can to prepare for her coming. The next step is to meet her and learn her personality. Scary, scary, scary... but exciting, nonetheless.
