Lin is Claire's surname in China. We found out that Lin in Chinese means "beautiful or fine jade". The surname is usually written with the character for forest. Interesting. At any rate, Lynn is my mom's name and so using Lin makes for an easy duo meaning. We looked through Doug's genealogy and had a hard time finding a name that goes with Claire.
Here is Claire at 15 months or so:
4-6 weeks until we travel... we're coming as fast as we can!
