I'm in desperate need of choosing an infant car seat. Does anyone have a suggestion? I'd love one that is not too heavy/bulky but still really reliable (and cute). All suggestions are appreciated. There aren't too many stores here with a great selection. I've been looking online but I like the idea of seeing/feeling the seat before making the purchase.

Any suggestions for an infant car seat?
I'm in desperate need of choosing an infant car seat. Does anyone have a suggestion? I'd love one that is not too heavy/bulky but still really reliable (and cute). All suggestions are appreciated. Hi Suzie, I like the Graco MetroLite. It is lightweight and they have several different designs to choose from. We got our at BabiesRUs/ToysRUs.

I don't have much expertise, but we loved our Graco SnugRide. Scott did the research and thought it had good ratings on safety, etc. We found it at Sears for a good price. Just a thought for you!
Good luck. I understand about feeling it. Some fabrics can get dang hot in the summer if you leave it in the car. You'll just be counting down until she is forward facing...
