Erin was blessed at Church today. It was really sweet. She wore the dress my mother made and the sweater, bonnet, and booties Doug mom made... a nice combo, I think. This is our first family photo since the hospital. What a wonderful family we have. We are so very, very, very blessed.
Today is Doug and my 6th wedding anniversary. Doug's parents, sister and niece came into town so we were able to go out without any children last night. What a treat. We went to the Texas Roadhouse (yummy). Then, as has been our tradition for the past two years, we went to Walmart and went on a shopping spree for each other. It's a fun little thing we do every year. Doug got me some cool, pink earphones for my ipod, Jr Mints, and a Steven Curtis Chapman CD. I got Doug a new set of black T-shirt sheets for our bed (one of his favorite types of sheet during the winter), a Symphony bar, and a foam dart gun! The girls especially enjoyed their daddy running around shooting them today.
