Happy "Gotcha Day" Claire Lin. It was two years ago today that we met you. You were wearing some radical gem enhanced jeans, a purple striped shirt I had mailed to you (it was way too small), a pink zip up fleece, size 12 months, worn out shoes w/ giraffes on them, and you sported two silver bracelets that your nanny made for you (because you were a favorite). Your hair was shaved in the back from the ear down. You seemed content to sit on our laps (as long as snacks were available), but when it was time to come with us, you panicked. That night we showered you and Paige and put you in matching purple jammies. You went over to your giraffe shoes, put them on and proceeded to try and leave the hotel room. I wasn't sure how to help you, and Paige was pretty jealous. More than once I asked Calgon to "Take me away!" Good thing that silly Calgon didn't listen....
'Cause BABY LOOK AT YOU NOW! You are gorgeous, sweet, so full of genuine love, SILLY, hilarious, full of crazy imagination, a super big sister, and a love of my life. Welcome home again and again forever and ever. We love you.
