Happy Birthday Claire
Five years ago our sweet Claire was born. I imagine her China mom and dad were mesmerized by her sweet face, those gorgeous almond eyes, and dark silky hair.
Five years ago today, just hours after she was born, our Claire was brought to an island off the coast of southern China. An island that is known for it's beauty and for the many tourists who visit each day. There our sweet love was left with a little note letting us know her birthday and her weight. On the note it read: "Lost baby girl".
No more lost but found.
Perhaps today China mom and dad are thinking about that special day, five years ago. We wish them a glimpse, in a dream perhaps, that will ease their minds. Letting them know that their baby was found by her family.
Letting them know that she is a pretty princess.
Letting them know that she is most compassionate, sweet, smart and loving girl.
Letting them know that she is happy and hilarious.
Letting them know that she is imaginative.
Letting them know she is brave and self confident.
Thank you for giving our child life and allowing us to be her parents.
We love and honor you this day.
