The United States Immigration Service has finally "invited" us to get our fingerprints taken. So kind of them to FINALLY send this invitation after having our information and money for more than three weeks... Our appointment isn't until next week, of course. However, I'm dragging Doug to the office later today to see if we can get them done earlier.
Believe me, they will get an ear full if they say "No". Waiting on the US Government is ridiculous. We have met all the requirements and paid all the money (the check was cashed instantaneously). All they need to do is send us a letter stating we can bring our child home.
Wouldn't people be all up in arms if they had to pay thousands of dollars, share all of your most private family information with a stranger who has to approve you to be a parent, and then await clearance in order to get pregnant?? Hmm....
