England

Doug left a week ago today for England.  He's gotten the house set up there along with help from the people from Church... the AMAZING people from Church.  Many of the members have donated items to help furnish our unfurnished home.  I'm humbled at their kindness and generosity.  What a blessing.

The kids and I will join Doug on Oct. 6.  Our plane leaves the 5th.  Yes, I'll be traveling alone with the 4 kids....  Those airports and passengers have no idea what awaits them.  Don't wish me luck.  Wish THEM luck! HA!

We've had 2 couples in the past week promise offers on our house that have since fizzled.  I've decided I'm going to try and hold myself together a bit more over it all.  I don't like hearing my kids say, "Mom, why are you sad?"

It is what it is, right?  Keep calm and carry on... I think that's an English saying from WWII... Guess I should practice some of the English culture now.

We do seem to have a renter lined up.... *knock on wood*
