My friend Jessica, told me of the memories she has as a child sitting on the bar stools while talking with her mom in the kitchen . When I picked a new house, I kept that in mind. My girls sit on the stools and chat with me while I cook and clean. It's so fun to have an inviting space in the room where I spend much of my time. Thanks Jess!

I can't believe you remember that. :) I am so glad you have bar stools. I am sure the girls LOVE them. One day before my kids are out of the house I hope to have barstools. :)
I love having the kids at the bar stools. They are in reach while I am in the kitchen and it's easier to clean up after meals and snacks than going back and forth to the table. Your kitchen looks great, and so do your girls.
