I'm tired. I have been filling out and reading adoption documents all day. Today I went into the bank twice, to both the post office and the UPS store, been to the town office for the notary of three documents, had Doug sign 8 documents (one of which was a 9 page application for the US government), picked/dropped off kids at school, went grocery shopping, read adoption paperwork packets all night long while filling out visa applications. Oh, and did I mention that Claire isn't a fan of her new school? So throw in some anger, fighting, sitting on and pushing, crying, and well, you know what I'm trying to say...
Tomorrow I have to return to the bank for ANOTHER money order, return again to the town office for ANOTHER notary, to the post office to send off ANOTHER package...
This boy better love me. When he is reading my blog during teenage years, he better run over to me and give me a huge hug and kiss on the cheek. Then he can do a little victory dance while singing his own rendition of a song that somewhere in it holds the phrases: "My mom is great... and pretty... and she loves me."
That's all I ask for.... ;)

Suzie, you are great....and pretty...and you love your children with a selfless devotion that exceeds what most children are privileged to receive. Seth will love and honor you for a lifetime, and along with angels in heaven, will sing your praises for eternity. You are doing an AMAZING thing.
Oh Suzie, I know how you feel. I also know it is hard to remember, so I will remind you, that the second you are able to hold your baby boy, all of this will be forgotten. Hang in there, you are closer than ever!!
If anyone has the fortitude to hold it together, and make it work, it is you, Suzie D! Nothing worthwhile is ever easy.
Except brownies, which are both worthwhile and easy. But I can't think of anything else.
