Travel and more travel and even MORE travel

Today was an exciting day.  We received our consulate appointment which allowed us to book tickets for our trip to China.  We are a little sad that we have to depart from Salt Lake City (3 1/2 hr drive) but happy that we will fly Korean Air (which I hear is just amazing).

A special thank you to my sister-in-law Sunny for agreeing to drive us ALL the heck way down to SLC next Wednesday.  Thanks to Theresa for watching Sunny's kids while she drives us down!   Thanks to my brother Michael for picking us up at the SLC airport and letting us stay at his home in Utah until my other brother, Jon, can come and pick us up the next day.

A special thank you to my good mother-in-law, Sue, for agreeing to stay in Idaho... apart from her dear husband for more than a month to care for our children while we are gone.

Traveling has intensified as we received our long awaited invitation to Shriner's Hospital in Portland, Oregon.  Seth has an appointment scheduled for just a week after our return home.  So we'll spend another night away from our children while we drive 11 hours to Portland and another 11 hours home from his appointment.  My dear mother-in-law will still be here which should alleviate the need to bring all the kids.

When it rains, it pours.  We'd reschedule the Shriner's appointment, but we really don't want to wait 4-8 months for another appointment.

Pray we stay sane and that Doug can somehow catch up on all his work while we are gone for so many days.  We are so blessed.

Whoaaaa! I guess I've been bad at keeping it ~ so much going on in the Daley household! This is great news that you have your TA -- you just need to go and get your sweet boy and bring him home. We will be following every step of your journey, so hopefully, you can post from China. Godspeed to both you, Suzie!
