Doug and I pre-kids. Eight years ago. Look how trendy, young and skinny we were in our new Jeep Grand Cherokee.... ahhh.... those were the days....
Eight is Great!
Let me tell you about our anniversary!
What a romantic night! We went on a date (with our kids) to a very romantic hot spot (Red Robin) where we ordered a fabulous steak dinner (burgers). We dined with the most polite group of friends (our messy kids and fabulous mother-in-law) who enjoyed trying new delicacies (sucking on the lemons from my diet coke). We were showered by four amazing gifts, complements of the restaurant (red, green, yellow, and blue balloons). Then we walked hand in hand (Doug holding one kid, me holding the other, Grandma steering the big girls through the parking lot) to the limo awaiting us (2004 Sienna). When we got home we made preparations for the evening (bottles, brushing teeth, potty, jammies, prayers, crying kids who won't go to sleep).
Who could ask for a more wonderful night?

It's amazing how much younger I look there, and how few gray hairs I have there. I'll blame the kids and not you honey. :o)
It was definitely a memorable wedding anniversary. To paraphrase Skid Row, "8 and life to go." :o)
Happy Anniversay! If I had only known in China, I could have taken Seth with his Gracie girl to the playroom for you to enjoy room service at the White Swan and ya know...okay just sayin'!!!
