Paige and Claire started school today... after a MONTH of being home. It takes 2 weeks to get registered and we happen to come at the end of a term, so there was also a 2 week break. The girls have been so bored. They are ready to get into the swing of things again.
As you can see they are in different uniforms. Yes, they are going to different schools. The closest school to us only had 1 opening so we had to snatch it so that we could get Seth and Erin into the receiption class next fall. This also means that as soon as there is a spot open in year 3 (2nd grade), Claire is next in line. Crossing our fingers that this happens sooner rather than later. The schedule in getting them to/from school is brutal. Claire's school isn't very friendly in regards to our trying to get her into Paige's school. Blah!

So glad to hear that Paige and Claire can go to school and meet new friends and learn lots of great stuff. I hope their first days went great and that Claire can soon get into Paige's school so they are together and it helps the scheduling go better.
